Terms of Service

ShadowBid Terms of Service

Effective version: 2026-03

1. Platform role

ShadowBid is a listing and communication platform for crypto-friendly freelance work. The platform helps users publish offers, discover listings, and exchange private messages. ShadowBid does not become a party to contracts, invoices, transfers, escrows, or off-platform payments between users.

2. Eligibility

You may use the platform only if you can legally enter binding agreements in your jurisdiction and if using freelance, crypto, and online marketplace services is lawful where you live or operate.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for your account credentials, device security, wallet security, and mailbox security. You must provide truthful information where requested and must not attempt to access another user account, session, or conversation. ShadowBid may require email-based confirmation for logins from a new IP address or browser.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the platform for fraud, phishing, money laundering, sanctions evasion, malware distribution, credential theft, spam, harassment, illegal goods, or unlawful services. You may not scrape the platform aggressively, automate account creation, or flood the marketplace with duplicate listings or messages.

5. Listings and messages

You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and originality of the content you publish. Listings may be hidden, marked stale, or removed if they become outdated, misleading, abusive, or harmful to the marketplace. Private messages are access-controlled, but administrators may review conversations when moderation, abuse handling, or legal risk assessment requires it.

6. Reviews and reputation

Reviews must be honest, experience-based, and connected to real collaboration on the platform. ShadowBid may limit review frequency, merge repeated reviews, or remove manipulative or abusive feedback. Reputation scores are internal platform signals and do not guarantee performance or trustworthiness.

7. Sponsored placements

Sponsorship requests are reviewed manually. A payment marked as sent does not guarantee approval. ShadowBid may reject, reverse, or end sponsored placement if a listing violates these terms, creates legal risk, or harms platform quality.

8. Payments and crypto risk

Users handle their own payment terms, wallets, tax obligations, and compliance obligations. Crypto transfers are irreversible by nature, may be volatile, and may carry regulatory risk. ShadowBid is not liable for failed transfers, incorrect wallet addresses, chain congestion, smart contract loss, or disputes between counterparties.

9. Moderation rights

ShadowBid may block accounts, remove listings, revoke sponsored status, limit device access, and preserve relevant records where abuse, fraud, technical attacks, or legal risk are detected. Moderation decisions are made to protect the operator, users, and platform continuity.

10. Availability and warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No uptime guarantee, data durability guarantee, or uninterrupted access guarantee is provided. You should keep your own copies of important messages, deliverables, proofs of work, and payment records.

11. Liability limitation

To the maximum extent allowed by law, ShadowBid and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost tokens, failed deals, or reputational damage arising from marketplace use, user conduct, moderation, or payment disputes.

12. Termination

The operator may suspend or terminate access at any time if continued access presents abuse, security, infrastructure, policy, or legal risk. Users may stop using the platform at any time.

13. Changes

These terms may be updated over time. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the updated version that is then in force.
